The Sussex Archaeological Society runs a variety of heritage sites across Sussex. We are looking for a Senior Finance Officer, who has demonstrable experience of working in a busy finance office, and excellent experience in management accounting. To be successful in this role you will also need current knowledge of accounting procedures and financial regulations, and demonstrable experience in managing finance ledgers. 

You will need excellent Excel skills and be competent in the use of other Microsoft packages such as Outlook and Word, along with experience of electronic finance systems such as Sage. In addition, we are looking for excellent communication skills, the ability to work on your own initiative whilst maintaining the financial governance of the Society.
