We are looking for an experienced Admin Team Supervisor to join our dedicated team on a fixed-term contract (approx. 12-18 months) to cover maternity leave. Specialising in standby power equipment installation, service, and repair.
You will lead a small team of administrators, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our processes while also providing hands-on support where needed.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supervise a team of three administrators, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of quotes, purchase orders, work packs, work orders, sales orders, and invoices.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational queries, providing guidance and support to the team.
- Conduct regular 1-2-1s and performance reviews, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Oversee scheduling and coordination of work, ensuring effective communication with customers and subcontractors.
- Assist the Senior Management Team with reporting, minute-taking, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Provide hands-on support by covering team duties during absences, maintaining business continuity.
- Ensure team compliance with company procedures and standards.
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (fixed-term contract) .
📌 This is a temporary position covering maternity leave.
Person Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an engineering or field service environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience with a hands-on approach to team support.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with D365 is advantageous.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to balance leadership responsibilities with day-to-day administrative tasks.
