Are you detail-oriented, methodical, and passionate about maintaining high technical and compliance standards? Lincolnshire Herbs Ltd is seeking a Technical Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our technical operations run smoothly, supporting key compliance activities, and maintaining high-quality standards within our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update various compliance logs, reports, and documentation.

  • Ensure technical documentation, including supplier and product logs, are up to date.

  • Investigate and follow through on grower and pesticide approvals, product issues, and customer complaints.

  • Conduct and support internal audits, ensuring compliance with BRC and other accreditation bodies.

  • Oversee customer, supplier, and grower filing systems and portals.

  • Monitor and coordinate pest control visits and documentation.

  • Support and prepare for audits, including BRC, Red Tractor, LEAF, Global GAP, and customer audits.

  • Assist in environmental and health & safety compliance initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

  • Methodical, meticulous, self-sufficient, and reliable approach to work.

  • Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel (including formulas, formatting, and graphs).

  • Full driving licence and reliable means of commuting.

  • Good basic education – GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in the food industry and/or technical function.

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.

Preferred (but not essential):

  • Familiarity with auditing bodies such as BRC, Red Tractor, LEAF, and Global GAP.

  • Relevant food-related qualifications (HACCP Level 3, Food Safety Level 3, etc.).
