Position Summary
Due to recent growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join Trojan Energy’s remote Project Delivery Team.
Reporting to the HUB Installation Manager, you will have experience working on multi stakeholder civil projects in both the public and private sector. In addition to effective project management skills, you will be expected to undertake a significant proportion of the project activities.
This position is based remotely. However, the successful candidate will be required to travel to offices and sites in the UK as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the design and project management of Trojan Energy’s on-street installations. You will be required to take project from feasibility stage through to construction. Your duties will include:
- Production of detailed site survey reports.
- Co-ordination of site investigation works e.g. GPR, Trial Pits.
- Production of feasibility reports and involvement in site selection process.
- Production of technical design drawings, including, cross-sections and general arrangements.
- Ensuring strict compliance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. Drafting of key CDM project documents.
- Co-ordination of third party construction work required for the successful completion of Trojan projects. i.e. Statutory Undertaker diversionary works.
- Completion of monthly measurement reviews and submission to finance team.
- Travel to site (throughout the UK) to supervise , inspect and manage projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Relevant engineering qualification (minimum to HNC level)
- Experience in highways/utility engineering.
- Solutions focussed with the ability to solve problems independently
- Proven to be a self-starter and a team player with the ability to collaborate with team members both within own function and across the organisation
- Ability to work to deadlines and effective in time management
- Flexible in approach to work to deliver to team and Company objectives
- Experience managing contractors
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience installing infrastructure in an urban environment and experience installing EV infrastructure on-street is desirable.
