Job Title: Production Coordinator 

Contract: 11-month Fixed-Term Contract (maternity cover)

Location: London, EC1V 0ET - Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office). This role is UK-based, and we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Start date: 3rd March 2025.

Salary range: £32k to £37k depending on experience. We offer to our PAYE staff holiday pay, enhanced sick pay and enhanced pension contribution. 

Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced and accomplished coordinator with prior experience in completed animation tv series and excellent knowledge of ShotGrid. 
 
The Production Coordinator takes ownership and responsibility of running the team and oversees many tasks related to the production. 

The ideal candidate will showcase consistency within the role and will be extremely pro-active to ensure the production is as smooth and efficient as possible.  

Their main tasks are coordinating the teams’ workloads and keeping a flawless communication with the various departments. They must ensure that the deliveries are met as per the established schedules, keep track of the project and ensure a strong workflow. 

Main responsibilities

·         Script coordination: formatting, tracking of the different versions, preparing the material for the voice recordings, follow-up of the pickups, conforming, breakdown
·         Daily crew planning and coordinating
·         Planning and monitoring team’s priorities, assigning tasks based on the availability 
·         Establishing targets and producing mini schedules to ensure timescales are met
·         Communicating the right information to the pertinent crew and ensure that it is well understood and applied and ensuring constant communication between different departments
·         Providing efficient support to the crew: ensure that the deadlines are met for each task in order to meet the set deadlines; ensure that the crew have access to the references and to the necessary material
·         Planning, running and active participation in all meetings concerning the progress of work 
·         Following the project schedules, anticipating any potential problems and informing the Production Manager, while bringing solutions in order to respect the deadlines
·         Ensuring work is being approved, completed on time and to specification
·         Ensuring that the server and all files are well organised
·         Ensuring delivery of the different elements for approval to the client for the key production stages (designs, storyboards, animatics, etc.) and following up on the requested corrections
·         Continually review the process and status, improve procedures and implement changes as appropriate in order to solidify the workflow through the pipeline
·         Play a key role in keeping a good spirit and a positive atmosphere among the teams
·         Performing any other related tasks assigned by the Production Manager
 
Requirements 

Essential

·         Three (3) years’ experience in production coordination, ideally in 2D workflow 
·         Previous experience of working as a Production Coordinator on a completed animation TV series 
·         Excellent knowledge of ShotGrid
·         Excellence and proven experience of detailed tracking, and establishing tracking pipelines - the coordinator will solely be responsible to manage, track, and alongside the Animation Director, support and drive the team to ensure deadlines are met
·         Advance knowledge of the 2D production pipeline
·         Great ability to adapt and a strong capacity for multitasking in a fast-paced environment
·         Ability to inspire people with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
·         Excellent cooperation, teamwork and communication
·         Excellent organisational skills, detail-oriented and determination
·         Knowledge of tracking shots / progress of animation 
·         Advance Microsoft Office and Google Docs skills 

Desirable

·         Project management experience
·         Line management experience
