At Argyle Community Trust, we are proud of our existing apprenticeship and employability programmes and the benefits that they bring to individuals in our local communities. We are now looking to further develop and expand our programme by appointing a Partnerships and Compliance Lead to support our Apprenticeship and Employability programmes. The post holder will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of apprentices and will support with the recruitment of participants on our employability programmes. In addition, a key aspect of the role will be to consolidate partnerships with current stakeholders and expand our offer to potential new partners and organisations. Therefore, we would expect the successful candidate to have strong organisational, networking and communication skills as well as current knowledge and understanding of post 16 educational pathways and apprenticeship routes.
Working with our dedicated Employment and Education team, the candidate must have experience of supporting in a range of contexts and settings, including schools and/or further education, a good working knowledge of Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) and a commitment to promoting the benefits of education through vocational programmes. Improving and developing our current CIAG offer in order to signpost our learners to exciting future pathways and career development opportunities is also an important aspect of this post. As a registered charity, the Trust works in close conjunction with Plymouth Argyle Football Club; with many partners across several sectors including schools and colleges; with organisations where sport has proven to be the ideal tool for creating lasting engagement with individuals and across both Devon and Cornwall.
