If you think this may be the position for you get in touch and apply. <br><br></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><br></div><div>· To monitor the crop for pests and diseases, carefully planning and managing the biological control application plan and utilising pesticide application where necessary as a last resort. </div><div>· To continuously challenge the growing process and to improve product quality & efficiencies. </div><div>· Attend the external agronomy fortnightly visits and initiate corrective actions identified. </div><div>· Monitor seed counts, germination rates and adjust as required.</div><div>· Assist in the planting and seeding of crops. Ensure that plants in appropriate soil conditions.</div><div>· Responsible for watering and fertilizing of plants as per schedule. </div><div>· To monitor the soil levels and adjust accordingly. </div><div>· To action daily, weekly, and monthly task lists, examples of tasks include: </div><div> o Weekly crops walk with Lead Grower and the Commercial, Ops and Technical Team.</div><div> o Taking monthly press-water samples and adjusting nutrient PH as necessary </div><div> o Sulphur Pot management</div><div> o Rosemary PHA Xylella checks<br><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications / Experience<br></strong><br></div><div>· Previous glasshouse experience would be useful.</div><div>· NROSO membership and hold PA1 & PA6 certification (this can be attained in role if required)</div><div>· Ability to work independently and in a team. <br><br></div><div> <strong>“Your future is in your hands.
