Wellbeing and Safeguarding Counsellor (part-time, in-person)
Rape Crisis South London are currently looking for a Wellbeing and Safeguarding Counsellor to join our organisation on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will have good knowledge within the Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) movement; experience of running services for Black and minoritised ethnic women; and experience of developing teams within a strong values framework.
The successful Wellbeing and Safeguarding Counsellor will have demonstrable experience of providing therapeutic support for young women and girl, ensuring that safeguarding interventions are client centred, tailored, empowering, collaborative and transparent to protect the interests of individual survivors.
The position is offered on a permanent, 0.2 FTE. The post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
