Daily tasks
1. Taxonomy management - Ensure proper use of the site's taxonomy, including categories, tags, and custom post types. - Regularly audit and clean up taxonomy structures to ensure accuracy and relevance. - Collaborate with the product owner to refine and document taxonomy guidelines.
2. Content publication - Review and publish content, with particular emphasis on following taxonomy rules and metadata requirements. - Verify that resource types are correctly assigned and align with their intended use case. - Address and resolve issues with orphaned or improperly published pages.
3. Production support - Assist content team members with uploading, formatting, linking and tagging resources on WordPress. - Provide basic training or guidance to content team members on WordPress best practices. - Act as a production quality checkpoint for content before it goes live.
4. Optimisation and SEO - Ensure, in collaboration with the marketing department, all content has appropriate metadata (titles, descriptions, alt text) to improve discoverability. - Optimise website content for usability, accessibility, and search engine performance.
5. Auditing and troubleshooting - Regularly audit the website for inconsistencies, missing metadata, and incorrect resource types. - Flag and resolve technical issues related to taxonomy and publishing processes.

An annual salary of £27,300 for a 37.5 hour working week.

We will consider either full-time or four-day-a-week working patterns for this role. You will be required to work from the London office near London Bridge on four days per week so will need to live within easy commuting distance of London Bridge..
