Metro Safety is currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join their dynamic team for fire door remedial projects. As a Carpenter specialising in fire door remedials, candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings by installing, repairing, and maintaining fire doors to the highest standards.
Responsibilities

Install and Repair Fire Doors: Ensure fire doors meet regulatory standards and manufacturer specifications. Have previously worked to either FIRAS or BMTRADA accreditation an advantage.

Fire Door & Compartmentation: Identify deficiencies in fire doors and compartmentation and recommend appropriate remedial actions.

Effective Teamwork : Work with project managers and team members to complete projects on time.

Ability to work live in an Office Environment: Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

Expectations : Work to a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all fire door & compartmentation remedial work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a focus on fire door remedials.
- Strong knowledge of fire door & compartmentation regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid Clean driver's license required.
