Y Swydd
Mae’r swydd mewn partneriaeth gydag Actif Gogledd Cymru, sydd yn rhannu gweledigaeth y Bartneriaeth Awyr Agored i greu newid cenedlaethol ac i gael mwy o bobl yn heini. Mae gan y Bartneriaeth Bolisi Gweithio Hyblyg bydd yn galluogi’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus weithio o adref a chael mynediad at bencadlys y Bartneriaeth ym Mhlas Menai, Caernarfon.
Rôl Datblygu Cymunedol yw hon NID rôl darparu/hyfforddi awyr agored ac mae’n cynnwys sefydlu, rheoli, hwyluso, cydlynu, monitro a gwerthuso rhaglenni.
Yn y rôl yma byddwch yn:
- Sefydlu rhaglenni cydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant yn arbennig ar gyfer merched a rhywiau ymylol eraill, cymunedau lleiafrifoedd ethnig, pobl ag anableddau a grwpiau difreintiedig yn economaidd
- Cychwyn a chynorthwyo'r gymuned i ffurfio clybiau a grwpiau gweithgareddau awyr agored cynaliadwy a chynhwysol
- Sefydlu rhaglenni iechyd a lles rhagnodi cymdeithasol i wella iechyd a lles meddyliol a chorfforol pobl
- Sefydlu a hyrwyddo llwybrau at raglenni cyflogaeth i bobl leol yn y sector awyr agored
- Recriwtio, lleoli, cadw a gwobrwyo gwirfoddolwyr i gynnal darpariaeth gymunedol

Regional Outdoor Activity Development Officer
Hours: 37
Salary: £32,000- £35,000
Location: Homeworking with access to the Outdoor Partnership’s headquarters at Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre, Caernarfon when required
Contract: Fixed term contract until March 31st, 2027

- The social value through outdoor activity,
- Grassroots participation in activities such as walking, cycling, climbing, canoeing, paddleboarding, sailing, mountain biking, and many more and progression into lifelong participation, further learning and training, volunteering and employment.
- Access and support for people of all ages, gender, creed, nationalities, orientation, and socio-economic circumstances to take up outdoor activities as a life-long pursuit.
About the role
The role is in partnership with Actif North Wales, who share the Outdoor Partnerships’ vision to create a generational change and get more people active. The Outdoor Partnership has a flexible working policy, allowing the post holder to work from their home and have access to the Outdoor Partnership’s headquarters at Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre, Caernarfon.
This is a Community Development role NOT an outdoor delivery/instructional role, and includes establishing, managing facilitating, co-ordinating, monitoring and evaluating programmes.
In this role you will:
- Establish equality, diversity and inclusion programmes particularly for women and other marginalised genders, ethnic minority communities, people with disabilities and economically deprived groups.
- Initiate and assist the community in the formation of sustainable and inclusive outdoor activity clubs and groups.
- Establish social prescribing health and wellbeing programmes to improve people’s mental and physical health and wellbeing.
- Establish and promote pathways to employment programmes for local people in the outdoor sector.
- Recruit, deploy, retain and reward volunteers to sustain community provision.
About you:
To do this role you will need:
- Knowledge and experience of successfully obtaining funding
- Experience of project work, operational, developmental and/or financial planning
- To be able to prepare reports, accumulate data and complete grant application forms
- Strong IT skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and Database
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- A clear commitment to working together as part of a team
- A clear commitment to equality and diversity
- A willingness to work flexibly to fulfil the requirements of the role
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Welsh and English
