Job Purpose
Your role will support the Technology Manager across the Active Travel Group with a primary focus on first line support and administration of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace & Salesforce.

The role is varied and flexible and will include some support and administration of our Salesforce CRM system, working alongside the rest of the team to provide solutions and improvements to the platform.

We are looking for a proactive, conscientious and motivated individual that can help us continually deliver a high level of service to our colleagues and teams.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensuring day to day tech support requests are actioned in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensuring support is provided for the administration and development of key IT systems in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Day to day tech support and administration of IT systems. This may include;
    • All aspects of user management including new user setup/deactivation.
    • Computer asset management and maintenance.
    • User support requests.
    • Salesforce configuration changes.
    • Data management to improve business data quality.
    • Network maintenance. Ensuring the network infrastructure is stable and secure.
  • Effectively communicate with and develop strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues to develop a deep understanding of business and support requirements.
  • Ensuring the organisations’ IT systems comply with cyber security policies and the latest best practice guidelines. 

Essential role specific Skills, Knowledge & Experience (in addition to those listed on the office team careers page)

  • Minimum 1 year of first line IT support experience or relevant role using business systems. 
  • Experience of troubleshooting and  configuring Microsoft 365 Enterprise products, particularly but not limited to Exchange, Intune and Defender.
  • A high level of IT skills with experience of cloud based systems, ideally Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce.
  • Strong problem solving skills, logical thinking & quick to understand new processes and systems.
  • A high level of conscientiousness and independent drive to deliver the highest quality of work possible.

Beneficial role specific Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience of using and administering Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Working knowledge and experience of Apple products and devices.
  • Some experience in scripting or programming (Apex/ Visualforce/ Javascript/ HTML/ CSS) 
  • Working knowledge and experience in corporate network environments, including but not limited to firewall configuration, VPN configuration, network traffic optimisation.

This position will be line managed by our Head of Data & Technology based at our Wilderness Scotland office in Aviemore which is part of the Active Travel Group (ATG). Ideally, this role will be predominantly at our London office, home of Ski Solutions (also part of the Active Travel Group) but could also be based at our office in Aviemore, Scotland or Kirby Lonsdale, England. Hybrid work options are available or this role.

There may be a requirement to travel to the London office or other ATG office sites on a semi regular basis so please consider this when applying for this role
