Location: Travel across Edinburgh required; Change Mental Health base: Stafford Centre, 103 Broughton Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3RZ
Part-time:  28h per week, Monday to Thursday, 9am-4:30pm (negotiable)
Contract: Fixed-term (until March 2027)

About the role:
The Signature Project was established in summer 2022 to support men aged 16 and over who live in the city and who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many of the men face multiple challenges and have not sought help before. We help men to identify what is important to them and the steps they can take to manage the psychological and social impacts of trauma. We offer face to face, online and telephone support from our base at the Stafford Centre and work with men in the community. We also host a peer support group facilitated by men with lived experience.  

Change Mental Health have just received an award from the National Lottery Improving Lives Fund to recruit an additional Outreach Worker to the project. This is a varied and rewarding role in a skilled and committed team, offering person-centred support to a wide range of men across Edinburgh.  We are seeking someone who is passionate about making a real difference to some of the most marginalised men in the city, and who can work in close partnership with statutory and voluntary partners. The successful candidate will be adept at helping people to identify their personal outcomes, and they will be able to quickly build collaborative working relationships with men from diverse backgrounds.
