This ground-breaking programme will develop and commercialise space based solar power.  Space Solar must become the world’s most knowledgeable entity in space-based solar power technologies, system design, delivery, deployment, and utilisation.
 
The project will benefit humanity, supplying clean power whilst diminishing reliance on fossil fuels, thereby reducing carbon emissions. It will deliver a huge innovation footprint across sectors from energy to space to robotics. Therefore, the successful candidate must hold sustainability and innovation as key personal values if they are to have credibility both internally and externally.
 
About the Role:
As a PMO Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Programme Management Office in the successful execution of projects and programmes. You will assist in establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and methodologies, contributing to the overall success of our organization's projects.

We are looking for a combination of specialist Project Manager and Project Office skills including detailed scheduling and scenario modelling, resource management, risk management, detailed cost planning and overall PM reporting. 

Ultimately, you will work with leaders across various departments to help streamline our projects to ensure we reach our goals and keep projects on track for timely completion.
 
What you will bring to the team:
  •  At least 3 years’ experience in being part of a high performing PMO team.
  • Must have demonstrated effective PM management support to two complex engineering programmes of £10M+ value.
  • Desirable: risk management experience for complex technology / engineering design and product development programmes.
  • Desirable : Space programme/Project management support
