About the Role:
As the IT Manager at Space Solar, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our IT operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including managing our helpdesk (initially outsourced function), and overseeing the development and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. 
 
You will be joining the Head of Digital Systems and IT to build and implement robust IT systems for a fast paced & rapid scaling organisation.  

As the only IT support person within Space Solar, you should be flexible and happy to cover primary support aspects of IT, as well as provide inputs and feedback into the IT Strategy.

You should have a customer first approach to your work – our team need to rely upon our IT function to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

 What you will bring to the team:
  • Proven experience in IT management, particularly in startups or fast-growing organizations.
  • Proficiency in IT infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of helpdesk support, Level 1 and Level 2 technical troubleshooting, and ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with network administration, cybersecurity best practices, and data backup solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
