JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for Casual Theatre Technicians to work as members of a dynamic department responsible for the preparation and the smooth running of lighting, sound and stage for a multi-platform programme at our Broadway theatre.
With previous experience in professional theatre, ideally in a buy arts centre, production house or equivalent, with specialism in lighting and/or sound design.
ROLE:
To assist in the preparation of facilities and the delivery of technical services for incoming shows/events within the Broadway Theatre.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
To be successful in this role you will have;
- An ability to work unsupervised and thrive in a fast paced working environment
- Self-motivated
- Ability to address situations that require immediate decisions
- Available to work unsociable hours, overnight and weekends if necessary
- Ability to work at height, and experience with the use of access equipment
- Experience in general care and maintenance of Technical equipment
- A basic understanding of Theatre electrics and/or Sound.
