Soul Foundation are seeking to employ a part time assistant to:
● Build and empower team, gathering and leading volunteers
● Supporting the running of the SOUL Social Supermarket
● Managing stock levels within the warehouse & shop highlighting any potential issues or shortfalls
● Recruiting & coordinating volunteers according to requirements & availabilities
● Monitoring quality control and keeping warehouse capacity at optimal levels
● Ensuring goods are stored safely & effective stock rotation
● Maintaining health & safety standards
● Report to line manger frequently with overview of stock levels
● Leading by example in building connections and community with our members and signposting them to our services
● Maintaining standards of excellence within the supermarket.
● Where needed fulfilling duties within Soul Church.
Person Specification:
● Flexible approach to working time
● Ability to inspire, build, and lead a team
● Good administration and organizational skills
● Computer literate with effective working knowledge of IT packages such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google (Mail, Sheets, Docs)
● Ability to develop processes and procedures that increase efficiency of operation.
● Valid Driver’s license
● Leadership and problem-solving skills
● Strong people skills, the ability to relate to people from all walks of life & excellent communications skills
