Main Role & Responsibilities
To help us deliver our Safer Gambling Training programmes we wish to employ a team of highly skilled professional self-employed associate facilitators to work with us on a casual basis. Associates will be required to deliver training in a variety of locations and settings to gambling operators/licensees. These sessions may be facilitated in conjunction with Ygam’s Business Development Officer and our partner, Betknowmore.
Successful applicants will ensure that our recognised quality standards and the agreed values of Ygam/Betknowmore are upheld in the delivery of the Safer Gambling Training Programme. Training will be delivered both online and face to face.
Associates will provide support/encouragement to those attending and update all relevant records within agreed timescales. It will also be a requirement to feedback any issues arising from the training to the Business Development Officer ASAP.
Associates will also be required to attend occasional meetings, such as reviews with the Safer Gambling team. They will also be required to undertake initial training sessions, to be able to facilitate to an agreed standard. It will also be a requirement to stay up to date on course/industry content within specific subject.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced training facilitator, with expertise/previous experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Gambling industry
• Gambling addiction (or other addictions)
• Delivering corporate training
Ygam is seeking a proactive, adaptable, creative, resilient individual, who can work remotely, both autonomously and as part of a team. They must have outstanding communication skills, be highly organised, and an excellent team player.

Role Requirements
Duties will include but not be limited to:
· Deliver the Ygam portfolio of workshops (online and face to face).
· Work closely with The Business Development Officer to review individual performance.
· Work autonomously and as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
· Self-identify any gaps in knowledge and any CPD (Continuous Personal Development) to help you do your role effectively.
· Attend Mandatory Ygam Training as part of your induction.
· Record attendance for feedback gathering purposes.
· Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with GDPR/data protection legislation.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Significant experience of delivering training/teaching to professionals.
- Experience of delivering training online and face to face
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding understanding of IT applications (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint especially).
- Ability to work autonomously, in a highly organised manner with a keen eye for absolute detail.
- Self-administrating experience.
- Experience of working collectively as a team to meet targets.
- Ability to travel where necessary (with occasional evening/weekend travel).
