Carers in Bedfordshire is looking to recruit a Carer Transition Advisor to support young adult carers move into paid employment, education and structured volunteering.

Are you someone that likes to make a difference and move people along in their life journey?  Do you have strong communication skills and can advocate on behalf of vulnerable people?

Do you have a positive and solution focused approach to encouraging people, experiencing challenges in their life, to regain aspirations and consider future plans with optimism? 

Do you have experience mentoring people to education, employment or training?

We are a strong and well-respected local charity with an ambitious plan to expand so that we can do more for carers. Our staff are our most precious resource. We know all our staff and volunteers make a difference in carers lives, whether they support someone caring for another adult in the family, a parent caring for a child with additional needs or a child who has caring responsibilities.
