Details
CVAN South East (www.cvansoutheast.com) is one of the nine regional networks in England that make up CVAN (Contemporary Visual Arts Network). We are a network of visual arts organisations across the South East that work together to create a stronger visual arts ecology. CVAN South East is a partnership initiative managed by Modern Art Oxford. It aims to be an effective network for the sector in this region by working in partnership on strategic projects and programmes, and by sharing learning and information to maximise expertise and creative thinking. The network is concerned with developing critically engaged art practice, and dedicated to promoting a visual arts ecology that thrives on the inter-dependence of many stakeholders, including artists and art professionals, local government, higher education, not-for-profit and commercial sectors. A major element of our programme is the Platform Graduate Award.
CVAN South East operates within its host organisation, Modern Art Oxford, under the oversight of an external Steering Group. It is supported by Arts Council England. The Manager, CVAN South East is based in Portsmouth and this role will need to commute regularly to Portsmouth.

The role will suit a blended combination of remote and in-person support. The exact structure and days can be flexible.
