Role Purpose: 
To engage parents and local communities in supporting Children’s Centre activities by implementing Community Development Model and Communication Channels.
 Experience:
- Working in partnership with a range of agencies to improve take up and enhance service outcomes for children aged under 5 and families.
 - Experience of community development 
 - Experience on solution focused to improve outcomes for children under 5.
 - Planning, coordinating and delivering community activities and events.
 - Experience of developing Service Engagement that may have included Parent Forum.
 - Experience of co-production with service users including families of under 5’s.
 
 Knowledge:
- Community Profiling
 - Community Capacity Building
 - Different community engagement approaches 
 
Skills:
- Skilled in a variety of methods of engaging communities and parents with demonstrable outcomes.
 - Strong communication skills leading to engagement.
 - Planning, developing, monitoring and evaluating services – ability to show impact of work.
 - Prioritising, managing workloads and meeting deadlines using data to inform approach.
 - Report writing and presenting to range of audiences in a variety of format.
 - Administrative Skills including marketing/publicity 
 
Qualifications and Training:
Educated to Level 3 in relevant field.
