The Caretaker will work with the Finance & Operations Director and Headteacher to support the maintenance and development of the charity’s sites and premises. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the premises are well maintained, secure, and fit for purpose so that the requirements of health and safety legislation and the curriculum are always met.
The role requires significant practical skills and the ability to co-ordinate and work with contractors as necessary. The person appointed will be expected to have an enthusiasm and commitment for maintaining and improving the facilities within areas of their direct responsibility. The post holder will be expected to stay up to date with health and safety and facilities management legislation through ongoing training.
